Why QuietSouth exists
QuietSouth was built for people who need calm support in unfamiliar moments.
Founded by Louis du Piesanie in Durbanville, Cape Town, QuietSouth brings together people-focused leadership, hospitality, local knowledge, careful listening and practical coordination.
QuietSouth exists to help guests feel seen, well prepared and personally supported when travel is meaningful, unfamiliar or sensitive. Some guests come to experience South Africa through a private Wellness Journey. Others need non-clinical coordination around licensed provider-led care. The two journeys are kept separate, but both are guided by the same values: warmth, clarity, discretion, thoughtful planning and personal accountability.

Built around real human attention.
Louis du Piesanie has spent more than 30 years working closely with people through important, emotional and sometimes vulnerable seasons of life. His approach is relational and practical: listen carefully, create trust, bring order to complex details and remain steady when decisions feel overwhelming.
Hospitality, travel and meaningful places have always been part of his life. QuietSouth grew from the instinct to welcome people well, coordinate carefully and help guests experience Cape Town, the Western Cape, South Africa and selected Southern African routes in a personal and unhurried way.
Louis oversees client communication, coordination and quality. QuietSouth works with carefully selected accommodation, transport, activity and guiding partners. Paid guiding is delivered only where the appointed guide holds the required registration and authorisation.
